Hoje, foram divulgados os indicados ao The Game Awards 2025, confirmação que atendeu a algumas expectativas, contrariou outras e deixou evidente a vantagem de um título que domina a disputa com folga. Apesar dos vazamentos que adiantaram parte da lista, o anúncio oficial consolidou um panorama claro sobre os principais favoritos da premiação.
Liderando com grande vantagem, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 alcançou 12 indicações e se consolidou como o jogo mais presente entre as categorias — incluindo três nomeações para performances. Ainda assim, mesmo descontando essas, o título segue bem à frente de Death Stranding 2: On the Beach e Ghost of Yotei, que aparecem empatados com sete cada. Hades 2 surge logo atrás com seis, enquanto Hollow Knight Silksong soma cinco. Houve ainda casos curiosos, como Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 aparecendo entre os indicados ao Jogo do Ano apesar do total modesto de três indicações.
Para a infelicidade de Shroud, que chegou a fazer campanha para que ARC Raiders disputasse o prêmio de Jogo do Ano no lugar do favorito Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, o título acabou ficando de fora da categoria principal. Mas, como esperado, garantiu presença entre os indicados a Melhor Multiplayer, ao lado de Battlefield 6, Elden Ring Nightreign, Peak e Split Fiction. As votações estão oficialmente abertas!
